Battle Hub, on the other hand, appears to be Street Fighter 6's multiplayer segment, though exact details on this haven't been shared as of yet.īut it's not just new modes that Capcom is introducing in Street Fighter 6. World Tour will offer “an immersive single-player story experience” and, from the announcement trailer, appears to allow for free-roaming 3D gameplay.
In addition to these returning modes, Street Fighter 6 will introduce the Battle Hub and World Tour modes. Fighting Ground looks to offer a classic fighting game experience and will include Arcade Mode, online matches, Training Mode, local versus battles, and more, according to Capcom. Street Fighter 6 will is set to bring back several returning modes alongside two new modes.

We expect that the Capcom Showcase may confirm some of these characters, if not all, but it's unclear whether this is the full roster for Street Fighter 6. "We appreciate all the positive reactions. We know that Jamie's style will be based on "drunken boxing" and will combine breakdancing with chugging a ki-unleashing drink. What we do know for sure is that Street Fighter 6 won't be coming to Xbox One, even if it is available on PS4, though a reason for this hasn't been given. While nothing is confirmed, then, we think it's a safe bet that we could see Street Fighter 6 launch somewhere towards the beginning of 2023. More recently, Monster Hunter Rise launched on Nintendo Switch in March 2021. Resident Evil 2 Remake released in January 2019, closely followed by Devil May Cry 5 in March 2019. Monster Hunter World launched in January 2018. However, Capcom has a history of releasing its biggest games toward the start of the year. However, this is only speculation at this point. However, with many developers delaying their games due to the lasting impact of the Covid-19 pandemic we could end up seeing a later release, which could be why Capcom has simply given a 2023 window for now.

Several mainline games in the series have released in February, while Street Fighter 4 was released in July, so we imagine the release could be within that period. Predicting when exactly in 2023 we could see Street Fighter 6 is somewhat of a tricky task too.

Street Fighter 6 will release sometime in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4 and PC.Ĭurrently, we don't have a more firm release date or window than this, and we don't expect Capcom to narrow it down at its showcase given the '2023' window was given recently.
